01

Architecture and river

Consider the Wrigley Building, Tribune Tower, Wacker Drive, the Chicago River, Reid Murdoch Building, Merchandise Mart and other downtown landmarks.

02

South Side culture

Build a route around Hyde Park, the University of Chicago, Rockefeller Chapel and exterior views near the Obama Presidential Center site.

03

North Shore and campuses

Combine Northwestern University in Evanston with the Bahá’í House of Worship or other close-in North Shore stops.

Plan with confidence

Interesting Chicago beyond the obvious loop.

A useful itinerary mixes major sights with places that fit your interests. The route can emphasize architecture, campuses, houses of worship, neighborhood streets, parks or lake views.

Because sightseeing time can disappear in traffic, prioritize the places that matter most. A longer wish list can be organized into “must see” and “if time allows” stops.

  • The Bean and Millennium Park area
  • Chicago River, Wacker Drive and Reid Murdoch Building
  • Wrigley Building, Tribune Tower and Art Deco exteriors
  • University of Chicago, Hyde Park and Obama Presidential Center area
  • Northwestern University and Bahá’í House of Worship
  • Historic churches, neighborhoods and lakefront photo stops

Simple booking

Turn a wish list into a workable route.

Choose priorities

Name three must-see places, then add optional stops if time and traffic allow.

Set the charter window

Share the pickup, final destination and number of hours available.

Confirm stop expectations

Decide which locations need a photo stop and which can be viewed while driving past.

Questions

Before you book.

Is there a human tour guide?

No. This is private transportation along a custom sightseeing itinerary with selected photo stops and recorded voice narration at key landmarks. A human tour guide does not ride in the vehicle.

Are attraction tickets included?

No. Admission tickets, reservations, parking charges and special access are not included.

Can the route include places outside downtown?

Yes. Routes can include Hyde Park, the University of Chicago, Northwestern University, the Bahá’í Temple and other locations, subject to the charter time and outside-Chicago rate.

Can every stop guarantee curbside access?

No. Stops depend on traffic, construction, legal loading areas and parking restrictions. Some sights may be drive-by views rather than standing stops.
